There are many opportunities for our students to participate in sport.
Maroubra Junction Public School hold three carnivals each year in swimming, athletics and cross country. All students in Years 3 to 6 are required to attend as it is classed as a school day. Additionally, students in Year 2 that are turning 8 in that calendar year are also invited to attend if their skills are appropriate.
Students participate in their houses of Chisholm (yellow), Drummond (red), Flynn (green) and McKinnon (blue) and are invited to attend the carnivals in their house colours.
Parents are welcome to attend all of our sporting carnivals throughout the year.
Students successful at our three primary carnivals represent our school at the zone carnival held normally a few weeks after our carnivals.
Our younger students also have the opportunity to compete and have fun at their own Sports Carnival.
Keep an eye out on the term calendar and newsletter for more information as the events get closer.
